Shipping Information

S hipping times are estimates from the time shipment is made and not from the order date.  If you have a preferred carrier please let us know in the order notes and we'll try our best to accommodate you.   
Shipping charges are calculated on total shipping weight, or dimension (whichever is greater) by each carrier. There is a shipping calculator provided in your shopping cart for assistance. Simply enter the destination zip code and choose the option which best meets your requirements for delivery. Factory Ordered (F/O) items are calculated from their shipping location. Most in-stock items are shipped within 24-hours from our warehouse.

DISCOUNT shipping: We have introduced a new shipping method, called GWL PROMO, for certain items to reduce the shipping cost. Shipping times typically take a few days longer. If you are in a hurry please choose a different method to avoid delays.

It has been our experience Priority Mail is preferred for orders up to 1 pound, or up to 3 pounds in and around Southern California. 

Expedited Shipping:

Please use the "Shipping Calculator" in the Shopping Cart to select your preferred method of delivery. All expedited rates are estimates. Actual rates may vary depending on the dimensional weight (size of the package). If the cost is higher we will contact you for approval before shipping. If the cost is lower we will adjust your freight down. Factory ordered (F/O) and monogram items may not be available for expedited shipping. Expedited orders receive priority status and must be received by 3:00 PM Pacific time to leave the same day from our warehouse in California.
SATURDAY delivery requires special arrangements through our Customer Support Center.

F/O Factory Orders:

Dropship, or factory-direct orders, ship directly from the factory and each one may have different lead times and shipping methods. Please allow extra delivery time and review the shipping info on each items' listing. Gift wrap and expedited delivery are not available for drop ship items. Shipments outside the US are very limited and usually are routed to our warehouse for forwarding, so allow extra time.

Drop ship items carry the return policy of the respective manufacturer, not GW Little. All drop ship returns require a restocking fee of some sort imposed by the factories. Please review the "shipping tab" on each listing for details.

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico:

We ship orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico through the Post Office or expedited by UPS or FedEx. Typical in-transit times are 6-8 business days. Costs vary according to the weight and size of your order. Sorry, our Free Shipping offer excludes these regions.

International Shipping:

We ship to most destinations around the world. Shipping rates during checkout are estimates of actual costs. If additional shipping is needed we will contact you for approval prior to shipping. It is the buyers responsibility to pay any and all import taxes, duties, and fees imposed by the destination country. Contact your Customs agency for details. Please do not ask us to modify invoices to save on import fees. Free shipping offers do not apply to orders outside the contiguous 48 United States.
Most orders we ship internationally are small, with lightweight items and ship through the Postal Service (click here for more information).  Large items and factory direct items are usually not available or too cost prohibitive.  


Dogs come in more shapes and sizes than any other animal on the planet. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to measure dog using a soft ruler according to our guidelines. Please keep in mind that all items vary in size by a manufacturer, and how you would like an item to fit is subjective.

First Time Customers:

First-time customers with orders shipped to a different address may experience a delay due to fraudulent best-practice verification procedures required by the payment card industry. international orders must be shipped to the same location as the billing address.
