Bad Experience

Comments:
The jacket I ordered was the wrong color and the material is really bad quality. There is a "D" ring attached to the outside of the jacket to attach the leash so the dog will not need a harness- well with an easy tug from my 7 pound miniature poodle, he ripped the "D" ring off the jacket. I am not pleased with the order. GWL: As previously noted in a review the tiny d-ring is not for a leash, but rather to tie down the hood.

Follow-up Review

Comments:
This is a follow-up to my previous review. I just realized the d ring on the vest was to tie the removable hood down so it doesn't fall into the dog's face. While that is great, there is no opening to attach a leash to a harness and this vest would probably only work well with a dog on a collar.

Great Vest!

Comments:
New puppy this year who hasn't experienced a New England winter yet. I bought her a hooded parka that she absolutely hates. The hood falls down over here eyes and she tries to wiggle out of it. I was looking for something else to try that would be less stressful and found this vest. It has made life much easier! It is easy to put on, she doesn't like the velcro but is getting used to it, and the hood is removable. Better yet is the d ring on the back so you don't have to put on a harness or collar and then put the coat on and struggle with trying to attach the leash. My only concern is where she sometimes pulls I'm wondering if eventually this will weaken and come off, but so far it has held strong and kept the little girl warm.
