Mist function did not work on the first fan received, replacement fan worked fine. Both functions - fans and mist - are a little loud and the mist function doesn't last very long. Best to use mist intermittently.

First misting fan received would not work with batteries. A loose wire was discovered after having it checked out locally. Second one received seems to be working ok......thank you for your fast service!
