Q: I'd like to get this if it has a see-through top, like the sides. I don't want my dogs feeling claustrophobic, and I want to see them! Please let me know if you have a see-through top.

A: Unfortunately, the floor is not available as a separate item.

Q: I bought this play yard and I just love it! I am trying to figure out how the gromet for the water bottle/dish works. The box indicates it has a place for an inside water dish???
Answered by GWL, February 25, 2012 at 01:14:12 PM EST.
A: The grommet is for an external no-drip style water bottle. The tip of the bottle goes through the grommet and there is an elastic band to hold the bottle upright.

A: The dimensions are 20" x 13" x 2".

Q: How is the bottom attached to this playpen? I have a Jack Russell Terrier and he figured out fairly quickly how to separate the bottom from another soft play pen I bought.
Answered by GWL, January 7, 2013 at 02:03:20 AM EST.
A: Jack Russells are very intelligent so I'm not surprised he figured out how to get out. the soft side play yards have a soft bottom which attach with small velcro strips. My guess is this will not be enough. If he gets out through the bottom of soft sided pens you should consider metal crates or metal play yards.

Q: Do you think this play pen would work well on the beach for small dogs? Would it help keep them cool?
Answered by GWL, June 27, 2014 at 04:11:40 PM EDT.
A: The bottom only velcros in a few places and sand could easily get inside. If you used it on top of a blanket it would work better. I don't think it would help keep them any cooler than outside of a playpen. The use of an umbrella would aid with cooling as well as using a rashguard UV protective shirt.

Q: When you say 29 diameter do u mean the height or the top of the pen? Also i use a gate its like not even 29" and my puppy who is 7 months, weights 9lbs he is a jumper will this thing tip over?
Answered by GWL, September 29, 2014 at 06:04:45 PM EDT.
A: Diameter is the distance across the the top. These pens have a top panel which zippers closed. If your dog jumps up and down ti probably won't tip over. But, if they lunge at the side panels, yes, it could move or tip over.
Typically, dogs who exhibit that behavior also scratch or chew to get out. If that's the case then this would not be a good choice. A metal crate or larger playpen area would be better.
