New style in step-in dog harness is sure to please you and your pets. Super soft, very durable, upholstery-grade genuine Ultrasuede. Cut just right to avoid choking and allow complete freedom of movement. In fact, the fit is so good you'll swear your dog has a custom Tailor.
When your dog is at rest the contoured quick-release buckle holds the harness in place allowing the fabric to keep a loose fit. When walking your dog the leash attaches to the double rings and any tension is evenly distributed through the dog's mid-section around the shoulder muscles, not the throat or trachea.
Since real Ultrasuede is so soft and lightweight your dog will prefer this harness over any other. You'll prefer it as well for its longevity, ruggedness, and ability to be cleaned over and over.
This style dog harness does not have adjustments making an accurate measurement essential. Please use a soft rule and measure your dog's girth directly behind the front legs while they are standing (not the widest part of the rib cage).

A: Yes, all Susan Lanci Ultrasuede is machine washable with a mild detergent or cleaning fluid. We recommend using a lingerie bag (especially when there are Swarovski crystals)and tumble dry with little or no heat. A suede brush also works wonders between washings to keep the nap up.

A: Correct, it does not go over their head. you place their front legs through the holes and buckle it at the shoulder.

Q: As there are multiple color choices provided, I'm curious as to why there are no other options beside "Custom Color". If this is a custom harness perhaps you should advertise as such. I only wanted the regular harness, no extra in the color "Olive". There is no space in the details or ordering for "NON-CUSTOM". Does this mean everything is to be considered "custom".

A: Currently, Olive is not a color we stock in this harness. We do stock different colors in different sizes. Start with your size selection, then choose color to see what's currently available in stock. Certain sizes, like teacup, or XL we may not stock any and these would be special order items in this style.
