Q: When I checkout the final total still says the entire purchase. How will I know the payment plan is going to be applied.

Q: I had an email code for 15% off as well as the seat I ordered is on special with free shipping. Will these things matter with the payment plan?

A: The payment plan applies for net totals (after discounts). As for the car seat, since it has Free Shipping it is excluded from the coupon code. Free shipping is worth more than the percentage off.
