A: The easiest way may be to adjust all sliding buckles to their fully closed, shortest, position. Hold the harness from the d-ring, pull down on the chest strap to get a good look of how it is shaped. Adjust each strap a little at a time until it looks like it should fit. Place it on the dog, buckle it, and make final adjustments.

Q: What chemical is in the Lazer Brite harness that reflects when headlights shine on it. I am thinking that it is something I don't want coming in contact with my dog's skin.

A: The reflective material is made by 3M, we do not know what ingredients they use to make it reflect. The reflective material is on the outside of the harness and is not in constant contact with skin. However, if it is a concern of yours, you may want to avoid using this harness. The matching leash is highly reflective as well.
