This Bag is one of the very lightest bags on the market. Unlike most other bags, this bag is very well ventilated as it has mesh on all sides except the bottom which has flaps that can be closed so that no one knows you have a pet inside. I bought my bag through sturdi products and have used it on a daily basis for several years now and like it better than any of the other bags I own. That being said, Bentley is 3 1/2 lbs and this bag would be too small for a dog much larger than Bentley. The quality is excellent. The zippers always work, the fabric is in perfect condition, the bag holds its shape but can be disassembled for easy storage (works like a tent with poles), the bottom pad stays in place with velcro and machine washes looking brand new after years of use, the shoulder strap is completely adjustable and can even be removed by using the clips on the ends of the straps. The straps are also nicely padded. I've taken Bentley to Costco, Restaurants etc. and he travels happily wherever mom goes...He gets right in his bag without a word from me. I guess that says it all! Oh, did I mention made in USA.....
