Simply soak them in water for 1-2 minutes, then line dry; this activates the cooling crystals and turns them into a gel. They'll stay a cool 65º for 3-7 days!

I ordered this vest for my Maltese to keep her cool on summer days when we are outside. It works very well. My pup never panted with it on and it stayed cold the entire time we were outside. Hawaiian cooler

This is a terrific product -- the third one I have bought this time for my little god-dog. We use them all the time in the summer and they are effective, and safe. Plus, they look awfully cute in them. Did not stay cool enough

I was pleased with the look of the 2 vests I ordered, but was very disappointed with the weight and temperature of the vests after the instructed activation. The temperature did not reach the published amount of degrees, even after a little help from the refrigerator. Rather, the vests remained damp and on the heavy side. Became more of a hinderance for my 2 teacup Yorkies in the sweltering NYC heat. Despite this experience, I still love and will order in the future from GW Little! READ MORE REVIEWS »
