Not Practical
February 10, 2016 | By Carol Barber
The opening of these boots are like the opening of a balloon with no stretch. There was no way I could squeeze my dogs paws into these boots without hurting him. Perhaps the bottom may have fit, but there was no way I could tell since I couldn't get them on.

GWL: perhaps the size was too small. We do know it does take patience and practice to get the boots on.

Allergy Relief!!

My dog is allergic to grass. When she comes in contact her feet get very irritated and she licks them constantly making matters worse. These little boots seem to be comfortable for her.

They definitely protect my little Yorkie Poo from the Chicago snow which is most important.

Only con is that they are pretty hard to get on and does pull some hairs (not a lot though). Practice makes perfect though especially if my little man is being protected from salt and other stuff on the ground that can hurt him.

My dog will not wear them.

GWL: These are far from "natural" for dogs. You can't expect dogs will accept them the first several times. It takes patience and training, and eventually almost all dogs will accept them.

They are the right size and do a good job for wet environments but I'm using these on a long hair Chiuahua and when removing them they pull the hair no matter how careful I am.

Nice item...but

This is the perfect item for someone to start out their puppy with to get him acclimated to wearing booties. However if your dog hates wearing anything on their feet like mine this may not be any better. Yet on the other hand, these are made so the animal feels the ground so it may be ok for your dog. It's a great idea to have cheap disposable booties and I can't fault the item for my dog's behavior. You know your dog better than anyone else so you'll be the judge of course.

PawZ Boots

When I use these little booties; I first put on a pair of doggie socks I had purchased from GW Little in the past. Then to top off her paws to keep water or snow out I put on the booties. The socks help to keep her feet warm, while the booties help to keep them dry. Plus, she does have a sweater or jacket as well. And another plus is that they stay on her feet and do not slip off.
