INGREDIENTS:
CAKE: Whole Wheat Flour, Honey Powder, Carob Powder (a chocolate substitute), Baking Power and Salt. - Whole Wheat Flour - a good source of quick energy for dogs when cooked
- Honey Powder - the best sweetener to give dogs and has a tantalizing aroma that attracts dogs
- Carob Powder - a delicious and healthy flavor to let dogs enjoy a tasty chocolate treat
FROSTING: Unflavored Yogurt - in small amounts can be beneficial to increasing the immune system and digestion
BAKING PUP CAKES:DIRECTIONS
You will need: 1 egg 3 tbsp vegetable oil 1/2 cup water 5 tsp water for frosting Preheat oven to 350 • F. Spray muffin pan or round cake pan with cooking spray and set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, blend Puppy Cake Mix with the egg, oil and water with a mixer or by hand until smooth. Scoop batter equally into muffin pan (makes 6 muffins) or cake pan. Bake for 18-22 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting. Frosting:In a small bowl, mix water with yogurt powder until smooth. Spread onto cooled Cakes. MICROWAVABLE!
After following mixing instructions on package, pour Puppy Cake batter into a 4" round casserole dish that is microwave safe and microwave on HIGH for 6-7 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Wait until cool and then frost. For individual servings, pour 2-3 tbsp of Puppy Cake batter into a microwave safe coffee cup or similar sized microwave safe dish (about 2" round) and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Wait until cool and then frost. Storage:
