Beating the Little Boy Blues!
Doggie diapers for old guys that can’t hold it any more have been around for a long time, and serve a very useful purpose. But now they’ve gone up a level, and their hybrid, the belly band, is becoming one of the most popular products for those of us with small, male dogs. And I can see why. Little boys just love to mark their territory, and when they do it inside it’s a problem.
Enzyme sprays are invaluable for cleaning up after he’s left his calling card, but aren’t the solution – and it’s never a good thing if he lifts his leg in someone else’s house! Think of when you travel with him, too. If you’re driving and can’t stop for a potty break, or if you need peace of mind that he won’t go in your hotel room, or office if you take him to work, the belly band is an ideal solution.
The great thing is that they don’t
look like diapers, so neither of you will ever be embarrassed by them! In fact they look great, and come in a variety of materials, colors, and designs. The absorbent terry cloth on the underside, that he wizzes into, is sometimes detachable and can be machine washed. Perfect!
