A Step in the Right Direction
When you love your little dog as much as you do, you want to have them with you at all times. Of course they always want to be with you, too, that’s why we choose the small guys! But often when we’d like to have them with us the most, such as while we are watching TV in bed, reading on the sofa, or snoozing in our favorite chair, it can be a real challenge for them to jump up and join you – those little legs just can’t reach!
You certainly don’t want them leaping off a high surface and injuring their legs either. Another concern is hip and joint deterioration due to aging. The older our pets get, the less they can do, and we should always protect them from hurting themselves at this vulnerable time.
Don’t despair, though, there’s a wonderful selection of doggie stairs available today to fit the needs, and tastes, of any caring mom or dad. Foam steps come in different heights to accommodate different needs, and you can accessorize them with covers to match your décor. Molded steps are wider and better for the unsure pup that needs more space to stand on as he or she goes up and down. The beautiful hardwood variety adds a touch of elegance to any room.
