We send "Shipping Confirmation" and "Delivery Confirmation" emails to the address used when ordering. Delivery emails are sent the night of delivery so please, after receiving a shipping notice monitor your emails for the delivery confirmation. If we are not notified immediately (1-2 days) of a missing shipment we have little recourse in recovering your package and you will be liable. Delivery and shipping confirmations are extremely important to monitor after placing an order, so please add "gwlittle.com" to your approved senders.
Shopping online and having items shipped directly to you is a convenience. Shipping costs are a fee going to the carriers which provide the service. Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility unless the item is being exchanged and is covered by our Exchange Promise. For comparison, if you purchase a harness from a local pet store, take it home and it doesn't fit your dog, the pet store doesn't come pick it up, nor do they pay for return shipping.
The RIGHT-SIZE PROMISE program offers free exchanges for hard-to-fit items. We include a pre-paid return mailer with your original order if you have any items which qualify (click here for details). You may also use these for a return without an exchange and we'll deduct the postage as charged to us by the Post Office upon receipt. Please follow the instructions included on the mailer.
Exchanges which are not part of the free exchange program will have normal shipping and handling fees applied. Please add tracking to all return packages to protect your shipment. Exchanges on Factory Ordered items, marked (F/O), may require pre-authorization. Please contact us first for assistance.
DID YOU KNOW: Dogs come in more shapes and sizes than any other animal on the planet. That’s why we strongly recommend reviewing how to measure your dog before making your size selections. It benefits everyone to keep shipping delays and costs to a minimum, so if you are uncertain about measuring your dog please contact us for assistance. Please keep in mind that everyone may measure differently, clothes and harnesses vary due to manufacturing processes, and the final fit is a subjective opinion.
If you are not certain of the size for clothing, harnesses, belly bands, or collars, you have a few options to avoid paying additional shipping. Purchase multiple sizes up front and return what doesn't fit for free using our pre-paid return mailer. See Right-Size Promise for details. If you are considering a custom order, or special order item, we encourage you to take advantage of our Right-Size Promise by buying a similar non-custom piece from the same designer in the same size and test for fit. Once you know the right size, return the item for free and request the exchange for your custom item - Now that's Service!
Most small items can be gift wrapped and personalized for that very special person or occasion. This service is not available for large or bulky items, and a few items that may be shipped directly from the manufacturer (F/O = Factory Order).
